QuantConnect pricing: what QuantConnect costs per month, what the free tier really allows, and the five line items hiding inside the headline figure
Every article currently ranking for QuantConnect pricing quotes $60 a month for the Researcher plan. We rendered QuantConnect's own pricing page in a real browser on September 21, 2026. It says $84, and that $84 is not a plan fee at all. It is the exact sum of five separately priced line items, and the seat among them costs $10.

In short
QuantConnect shows four paid packs: Researcher at $84 a month, Team at $168 per user a month, Trading Firm at $480 per user a month and Institution at $1,272 per user a month. None of those is a flat subscription. Each is the precise sum of a seat plus compute nodes, every one of which QuantConnect prices separately in the same catalog: a Researcher seat is $10 a month, a B2-8 backtesting node is $14, an R1-4 research node is $12, an L-MICRO live trading node is $24 and an A1-1 assistant node is $24, which is where $84 comes from. Team and Trading Firm each carry a two-user minimum and Institution a five-user minimum, so the cheapest real invoices are $336, $960 and $6,360 a month, not the per-user numbers on the cards. The free plan cannot trade live at any point: its live trading node limit is zero.

SIDE BY SIDE - PRICING CHECKED SEPTEMBER 21, 2026
Every QuantConnect plan, what it is really for, and the limit that pushes you off it
One card per plan, read from QuantConnect's rendered pricing page and its published documentation on September 21, 2026, plus an honest card for this site. The limitation line on each card is the thing that moves a buyer up a tier, and on the free plan it is the line QuantConnect's own two pages disagree about.
| Tool | Best for | Price (September 21, 2026) | The honest limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| QuantConnect Free | Learning LEAN, working through the bootcamp, and proving a strategy idea is worth paying to test properly | $0 | Live trading node limit is zero, so you can never deploy a strategy to a broker on this plan, at any point, for any length of time. The pricing card advertises "Unlimited Backtesting", but QuantConnect's own documentation says the free B-MICRO node "introduces a 20-second delay when launching backtests and caps usage to 200 backtests per day". |
| QuantConnect Researcher | One person building and running a small number of strategies, and the only tier an individual can buy without a second seat | $84 a month, or $888 a year | The research node limit is 1, which is the same as the free plan. You get a faster node, not more of them. Backtesting and live trading node limits are 2 each. |
| QuantConnect Team | Two to ten people sharing projects, with collaboration and higher log and file limits | $168 per user a month, minimum 2 users, so $336 a month | The two-user minimum is the whole story. You cannot buy one Team seat, so the real step up from Researcher is not $84 to $168, it is $84 to $336, a four-fold increase. |
| QuantConnect Trading Firm | A professional desk that needs unlimited compute nodes, team project ownership and permissions management | $480 per user a month, minimum 2 users, so $960 a month | This is the first tier where support is charged rather than included. $144 of the $480 is Silver Support, which the two tiers below it get in Bronze form for nothing. |
| QuantConnect Institution | A firm that needs the platform on-premises, code encryption and FIX or professional brokerage connectivity | $1,272 per user a month, minimum 5 users, so $6,360 a month | The five-user minimum makes this a $76,320 a year decision billed monthly, or $64,560 paid annually. It is not a seat you add. |
| AgentTrading (this site) | Someone who wants a rule tested on twenty years of daily data and does not want to write Python or size a compute node | $19 a month, $15 a month billed yearly, bought online | We do not execute trades, connect to a broker, or support options, futures, forex or crypto. There is no Python, no LEAN, no tick data and no live deployment of any kind. If you want an algorithm running against Interactive Brokers at 9:30, QuantConnect does that and we do not. |

QuantConnect Free
Learning LEAN, working through the bootcamp, and proving a strategy idea is worth paying to test properly
The free plan is genuinely generous on data. QuantConnect gives it equities, indexes, forex, crypto, futures and options, plus corporate fundamentals and minute, hour and daily resolution, which is more than most paid retail backtesters include. What it withholds is throughput and deployment. You get one B-MICRO backtesting node, one R1-4 research node, 500MB of workspace, no object store, a 4,000-point ceiling on any chart series and no LEAN-CLI, so you cannot code locally in VSCode against the cloud. Tick and second resolution are absent, as is the futures live feed. The two restrictions worth planning around are the 200 backtests a day cap and the 20-second launch delay, which together make parameter sweeping impractical: QuantConnect states plainly that those restrictions are lifted only when you upgrade to a paid tier and add a new backtesting node.
QuantConnect Researcher
One person building and running a small number of strategies, and the only tier an individual can buy without a second seat
This is the tier almost everyone lands on, and the one every ranking page gets wrong. The bundle swaps the free B-MICRO for a B2-8 backtesting node, upgrades the research node to an R1-4, adds an L-MICRO live trading node and an A1-1 assistant node, and unlocks LEAN-CLI, API access, web debugging, the backtest PDF report, 2GB of workspace and a capped object store. Bronze Support, which QuantConnect lists separately at $72 a month, comes with it at no charge, so the effective value of the pack is higher than the $84 suggests. The catch is in the other direction: $48 of that $84 is a live trading node and an assistant node. If you are testing rules and not deploying them, those two line items are more than half your bill and you are not using either.
QuantConnect Team
Two to ten people sharing projects, with collaboration and higher log and file limits
Team roughly doubles every node in the Researcher pack: an R2-8 research node, a B4-12 backtesting node and an L1-1 live node, with node limits of 10 in each category rather than 2. Project collaboration and read-only collaborators arrive here, and so does a 4GB workspace and an expandable object store. Bronze Support is again included at no charge. Paid annually the per-user rate falls to $1,728, which QuantConnect advertises as a $288 saving, and at the two-user minimum the smallest annual commitment is $3,456. For a two-person shop that genuinely shares code this is fair value. For one person who wants a bigger backtesting node it is the wrong purchase, because adding a B8-16 node to a Researcher seat costs $96 a month and leaves you at $180 rather than $336.
QuantConnect Trading Firm
A professional desk that needs unlimited compute nodes, team project ownership and permissions management
The pack is a Trading Firm seat, an R4-12 research node, two B4-12 backtesting nodes, an L1-1 live node, an A4-12 assistant node and Silver Support. Compute node limits go unlimited, permissions control and team project ownership appear, the workspace jumps to 20GB and advanced AI scheduling is included. Annually it is $4,992 per user, a $768 saving, so two users commit $9,984 a year. The honest read is that the jump from Team is mostly governance rather than horsepower: you can already add unlimited-ish nodes on Team up to a limit of 10 per category, and 10 backtesting nodes is more than most desks run. Buy this for permissions and ownership, not for speed.
QuantConnect Institution
A firm that needs the platform on-premises, code encryption and FIX or professional brokerage connectivity
The heaviest pack in the catalog: an Institution seat, three R8-16 research nodes, four B4-12 backtesting nodes, four L1-2 live trading nodes, an A4-12 assistant node and Gold Support at $288. It is the only tier with the on-premises LEAN Enterprise platform, AES-256 code encryption, LEAN version control, custom package installations, corporate branding and FIX and prime brokerage connectivity, and the only one with a 50GB workspace and 96,000 plot points. If the reason you are here is compliance, encryption or a prime broker rather than compute, this is the tier that carries it and there is no cheaper route to those four things.
AgentTrading (this site)
Someone who wants a rule tested on twenty years of daily data and does not want to write Python or size a compute node
The comparison is only fair on one axis, which is testing a rule. We take a thesis or a ticker in plain English, pull the fundamentals, run a rule-based backtest on more than twenty years of adjusted daily US equity and ETF data, and return an honest verdict including the cases where the rule did not work. There is no node to choose, no seat minimum, no support tier and no separate data meter, and the price is on the checkout page rather than behind a configuration tab. Against a Researcher pack at $84 that is $65 a month cheaper, but it buys a narrower thing. The decision is whether your idea is a rule on daily bars or a program, and if it is a program then the $84 is the right purchase.

THE HEADLINE PRICE IS FIVE INVOICES
What the $84, $168, $480 and $1,272 are actually made of, and the minimum you can be billed
Every row below was read from QuantConnect's own pricing page on September 21, 2026, and every component price comes from the same catalog the page uses to build the packs. The arithmetic is exact in all four cases: the pack price is the sum of its parts, with no rounding and no bundle discount except on support. The last two columns are the ones no ranking page carries. QuantConnect prints a per-user figure on three of the four cards and a minimum user count underneath it in smaller type, so the smallest invoice Team can generate is double the number on its card, and Institution is five times its own.
| Pack | Line items it is built from, at catalog price | Components add to | Card price | Minimum users | Cheapest possible monthly invoice | Cheapest possible annual invoice |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Researcher | Researcher Seat $10, R1-4 research node $12, B2-8 backtesting node $14, L-MICRO live node $24, A1-1 assistant node $24. Bronze Support, listed at $72, is included at no charge | $84 | $84 per month | 1 | $84 | $888 (saves $120 against paying monthly) |
| Team | Team Seat $24, R2-8 $24, B4-12 $48, L1-1 live node $48, A1-1 $24. Bronze Support, listed at $72, is included at no charge | $168 | $168 per user per month | 2 | $336 | $3,456 (2 users at $1,728) |
| Trading Firm | Trading Firm Seat $48, R4-12 $48, two B4-12 backtesting nodes $96, L1-1 $48, A4-12 assistant node $96, Silver Support $144. Support is charged here, unlike the two tiers below it | $480 | $480 per user per month | 2 | $960 | $9,984 (2 users at $4,992) |
| Institution | Institution Seat $96, three R8-16 research nodes $288, four B4-12 backtesting nodes $192, four L1-2 live nodes $312, A4-12 $96, Gold Support $288 | $1,272 | $1,272 per user per month | 5 | $6,360 | $64,560 (5 users at $12,912) |
| Free plan | One B-MICRO backtesting node, one R1-4 research node, zero live trading nodes, 500MB of workspace and no object store | $0 | $0 | 1 | $0 | $0 |
All prices and minimum user counts were read from QuantConnect's own pricing page, rendered in a browser on September 21, 2026, and the component prices come from the same catalog that page uses to assemble each pack. The free-plan backtest cap and launch delay are quoted from QuantConnect's organization resources documentation. QuantConnect changes its prices, so verify the current figures on its pricing page before you commit. Past performance does not guarantee future results. WHAT YOU GET - QUANTCONNECT PRICING
QuantConnect pricing, run on the bench
The plan price is a configuration, not a fee, and the seat inside it costs $10
QuantConnect's pricing page has a Customize Plan tab next to Choose a Plan, and it prices every component separately. The Researcher pack at $84 a month is a Researcher seat at $10, an R1-4 research node at $12, a B2-8 backtesting node at $14, an L-MICRO live trading node at $24 and an A1-1 assistant node at $24. Those five numbers add to $84 exactly. Before you buy the default configuration, open that tab and check which of the five you will actually use, because $48 of the $84 is a live trading node and an assistant node that a person who only backtests never touches.
Team and Trading Firm cannot be bought for the price on the card
Underneath the $168 and $480 figures, in smaller type, QuantConnect states a minimum of 2 users on both, and a minimum of 5 on Institution. Not one page currently ranking for this search mentions those minimums. The practical effect is that the step from Researcher to Team is not $84 to $168 but $84 to $336 a month, and Institution is not a $1,272 decision but a $6,360 a month one, which is $76,320 a year billed monthly. If you are one person who wants more compute, adding a bigger node to a Researcher seat is dramatically cheaper than moving tier: a B8-16 backtesting node is $96 a month, taking you to $180 rather than $336.
The free plan advertises unlimited backtesting and the documentation caps it at 200 a day
The pricing card lists "Unlimited Backtesting" under Free Plan Includes. QuantConnect's own organization resources documentation says the included B-MICRO node "introduces a 20-second delay when launching backtests and caps usage to 200 backtests per day", and that those restrictions are lifted only when you upgrade to a paid tier and add a new backtesting node. Both statements are QuantConnect's, published on the same site, and they do not agree. Plan around the documented number: 200 backtests a day with a 20-second delay each is workable for developing one strategy and useless for a parameter sweep.
You cannot trade live on the free plan at all, ever
The feature matrix lists a Live Trading Node Limit of 0 for the free plan. This is not a trial limit that expires or a reduced allowance, it is zero capacity. Paper trading through QuantConnect's own datafeed is available, and so is the full brokerage list once you pay, but no free account can deploy an algorithm to Interactive Brokers, tastytrade, Charles Schwab, TradeStation, Alpaca or anywhere else. If deployment is the reason you are evaluating QuantConnect, the real entry price is $84 a month, not free.
Data is a separate meter and it can dwarf the compute bill
The catalog prices datasets independently of plans. Most are free: AlgoSeek's equity and futures history, Brain Company's sentiment and filings analysis, Extract Alpha's Estimize and True Beats, and QuantConnect's own universe update feeds all sit at $0 a month. Quiver Quantitative's insider trading, lobbying and government contract feeds are $5 each. Then it climbs steeply: Benzinga news is $120 a month, US ETF Constituents Updates is $330, and the US Equity Security Master is $4,000 a month or $48,000 a year. Price the datasets your universe needs before you price the plan, because a strategy that needs the security master will spend about 47 times more on data than on the pack running it.
Annual billing discounts everything except the assistant nodes
Paying twelve months up front cuts 14% to 20% off every seat, node, support tier and storage SKU in the catalog. The Researcher seat goes from $120 a year to $96, the B2-8 backtesting node from $168 to $144, Bronze Support from $864 to $720. The two exceptions are the assistant nodes: A1-1 is $24 a month and $288 a year, and A4-12 is $96 and $1,152, both of which are exactly twelve times the monthly rate. If you are configuring a plan annually, the assistant node is the one line item where committing early buys you nothing, so it is the one to leave on monthly or leave out.
HOW IT WORKS - 4 STEPS
From a sentence to a stamped verdict
Decide whether you are deploying live before you look at a single price
This one question settles most of the QuantConnect decision, because live deployment is what the pricing is built around. If you will never connect a broker, the free plan gives you equities, options, futures, forex, crypto and corporate fundamentals at minute resolution, and the only things you are short of are throughput and local coding. If you will deploy, the free plan is not a starting point at all, because its live trading node limit is zero, and your real entry price is $84 a month. Answering this first stops people paying $84 for a live node they never attach to a broker, and it stops people spending a month on the free tier before discovering it cannot do the thing they came for.
Open the Customize Plan tab and price the components you will use
The Choose a Plan tab sells you a five-item bundle. The Customize Plan tab next to it prices each item on its own, and those prices are the ones in the catalog table above. Work out what you need: a seat is compulsory, a backtesting node is compulsory, a research node is only needed if you work in Jupyter notebooks, a live trading node is only needed if you deploy, and an assistant node only if you use the AI features. Then compare that total against the pack. A backtest-only configuration is built from very different line items than the recommended one, and the pricing page will show you both figures before you commit.
Price your datasets before you price your plan
Go to the dataset listings and total the monthly cost of every feed your universe touches, using the numbers in the catalog above. For a strategy on liquid US equities with daily or minute bars, this is usually zero, because QuantConnect includes core equity data in every tier. For anything that screens a broad universe, references ETF constituents, or needs a point-in-time security master, the data line can run from $330 to $4,000 a month and will be larger than everything else on the invoice combined. Getting this number before you subscribe is the difference between an $84 decision and a $4,084 one.
Count your seats against the stated minimums, then choose monthly or annual
If two or more people need accounts, Team starts at $336 a month because of its two-user minimum, and if you need on-premises deployment or FIX connectivity, Institution starts at $6,360 because of its five-user minimum. Only Researcher can be bought as a single seat. Once the tier is settled, annual billing takes 14% to 20% off every line except the assistant nodes, so the Researcher pack is $888 a year rather than $1,008 and two Team seats are $3,456 rather than $4,032. Commit annually on the seats, nodes and support, and leave the assistant node monthly if you take one at all, since it carries no annual discount.
Sanity-check the idea before you rent compute for it
A compute node is worth paying for once you know the rule is worth programming. If what you have is a sentence rather than a strategy, run it somewhere that takes a sentence first. Our <a href="/trading-strategy-tester">trading strategy tester</a> takes a plain-English rule, runs it on more than twenty years of adjusted daily data and returns the Sharpe ratio, the drawdown and the cases where it failed, and it costs $19 a month with nothing to configure. If the rule survives that, you know what you are building before you start paying $84 a month to build it.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. For educational and informational purposes only. Not financial advice. Consult a licensed advisor.
On the same bench
The number that matters to most people reading this is not on any of the four cards. QuantConnect runs an a la carte catalog underneath the packs, and the pricing page renders it in full. Below is that catalog as it stood on September 21, 2026, in QuantConnect's own SKU names. Annual prices are the figure QuantConnect charges for twelve months up front, so the right-hand column is the honest discount rather than the one on the marketing card.
| Line item | SKU | Per month | Per year, paid annually | Annual saving against 12 monthly payments |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seat, Researcher | Researcher Seat | $10 | $96 | $24 (20%) |
| Seat, Team | Team Seat | $24 | $240 | $48 (17%) |
| Seat, Trading Firm | Trading Firm Seat | $48 | $480 | $96 (17%) |
| Seat, Institution | Institution Seat | $96 | $960 | $192 (17%) |
| Backtesting node, entry | B2-8 | $14 | $144 | $24 (14%) |
| Backtesting node, 4 core | B4-12 | $48 | $480 | $96 (17%) |
| Backtesting node, 8 core | B8-16 | $96 | $960 | $192 (17%) |
| Backtesting node, GPU | B4-16-GPU | $400 | $4,000 | $800 (17%) |
| Backtesting node, 24 core | B24-128 | $768 | $7,680 | $1,536 (17%) |
| Research node, entry | R1-4 | $12 | $120 | $24 (17%) |
| Research node, 2 core | R2-8 | $24 | $240 | $48 (17%) |
| Research node, 4 core | R4-12 | $48 | $480 | $96 (17%) |
| Research node, 8 core | R8-16 | $96 | $960 | $192 (17%) |
| Live trading node, entry | L-MICRO | $24 | $240 | $48 (17%) |
| Live trading node, 1 core | L1-1 | $48 | $480 | $96 (17%) |
| Live trading node, 1 core 2GB | L1-2 | $78 | $780 | $156 (17%) |
| Live trading node, 2 core | L2-4 | $96 | $960 | $192 (17%) |
| Live trading node, 4 core | L4-8 | $200 | $2,000 | $400 (17%) |
| Assistant node, entry | A1-1 | $24 | $288 | $0 (0%) |
| Assistant node, 4 core | A4-12 | $96 | $1,152 | $0 (0%) |
| Support, Bronze | Bronze Support | $72 | $720 | $144 (17%) |
| Support, Silver | Silver Support | $144 | $1,440 | $288 (17%) |
| Support, Gold | Gold Support | $288 | $2,880 | $576 (17%) |
| Object store, 10GB | S-10 | $12 | $120 | $24 (17%) |
| Object store, 100GB | S-100 | $120 | $1,200 | $240 (17%) |
Two things in that table are worth stopping on. The assistant nodes are the only line items in the entire catalog where paying a year up front saves nothing: A1-1 is $24 a month and $288 a year, which is twelve times $24 exactly, and A4-12 is $96 and $1,152 on the same arithmetic. Every other SKU discounts by 14% to 20%. And the entry backtesting node, B2-8, is the cheapest compute in the catalog at $14 a month, which matters because it is the only node a person who never trades live actually needs.
Data is billed on its own meter and it is where a fundamentals-driven strategy gets expensive. Most of the alternative datasets carry no charge: AlgoSeek's equity and futures history sets, Brain Company's sentiment and filings analysis, Extract Alpha's Estimize and True Beats, and QuantConnect's own universe update feeds all price at $0 a month. Quiver Quantitative's insider trading, lobbying, government contracts and CNBC feeds are $5 a month each. Smart Insider buyback data is $10. Benzinga's news feed is $120 a month. US ETF Constituents Updates is $330. The US Equity Security Master is $4,000 a month, which is $48,000 a year, and it is the single largest number anywhere in QuantConnect's catalog. A universe strategy that needs the security master will spend roughly 47 times more on data than on the $84 pack running it.
If your strategy is a rule on daily bars rather than a Python project, the whole node question is beside the point. That is the trade our trading strategy tester makes: you describe the rule in plain English, we run it on more than twenty years of adjusted daily data, and there is no node to size, no seat to buy and no live trading meter. A fuller list of where each approach fits is on the QuantConnect alternative page.
QUESTIONS - ASKED AND ANSWERED
QuantConnect pricing: the common questions
How much does QuantConnect cost?
QuantConnect's pricing page, rendered September 21, 2026, shows a free plan and four paid packs: Researcher at $84 a month or $888 a year, Team at $168 per user a month with a two-user minimum, Trading Firm at $480 per user a month with a two-user minimum, and Institution at $1,272 per user a month with a five-user minimum. Because of the minimums the smallest invoice each tier can generate is $84, $336, $960 and $6,360 a month. Compute nodes beyond the bundle and most premium datasets are billed separately on top.
Is QuantConnect free?
There is a permanently free plan and it does not need a credit card. It includes equities, indexes, forex, crypto, futures and options data, corporate fundamentals, minute, hour and daily resolution, one B-MICRO backtesting node, one R1-4 research node and 500MB of workspace. It cannot trade live: the live trading node limit on the free plan is zero. QuantConnect's documentation also states that the free node adds a 20-second delay to each backtest launch and caps usage at 200 backtests per day, which the pricing card does not mention.
Why do other sites say QuantConnect costs $60 a month?
Because QuantConnect has raised its prices and those pages have not been updated. The review currently ranking on page one lists Researcher at $60 a month and $600 a year, Team at $120 per user, Trading Firm at $336 and Institution at $1,080. The live pricing page on September 21, 2026 shows $84, $168, $480 and $1,272, which is between 18% and 43% higher on every tier. The same page also describes L1-1 as a $24 basic node; L1-1 is a live trading node priced at $48, and the $24 node is the L-MICRO.
What is the cheapest QuantConnect plan that lets you backtest?
The free plan backtests, with a 200-a-day cap and a 20-second launch delay on the included B-MICRO node. The cheapest paid pack is Researcher at $84 a month. Below that, QuantConnect's Customize Plan tab prices the components individually: a Researcher seat is $10 a month and a B2-8 backtesting node is $14, so a configuration aimed purely at backtesting is built from very different line items than the $84 default, which also includes a $24 live trading node, a $24 assistant node and a $12 research node. Confirm in the cart which of those you are able to leave out.
Does QuantConnect charge per user?
Team, Trading Firm and Institution are all priced per user per month, at $168, $480 and $1,272 respectively. Researcher is a single-seat plan at $84 a month. The detail that changes the arithmetic is the minimum user count printed under each card: 2 users on Team, 2 on Trading Firm and 5 on Institution. You cannot buy one Team seat or one Institution seat, so the effective entry prices are $336, $960 and $6,360 a month.
How much is a QuantConnect live trading node?
Live trading nodes are priced from $24 a month for an L-MICRO, then $48 for an L1-1, $78 for an L1-2, $96 for an L2-4, $200 for an L4-8 and $400 for an L8-16-GPU, with a 24-core L24-128-GPU at $1,000 a month. Paid annually those become $240, $480, $780, $960, $2,000, $4,000 and $10,000. The Researcher pack includes one L-MICRO and the Team pack includes one L1-1, so the entry cost of live deployment is the pack price rather than the node price on its own.
Does QuantConnect have an annual discount?
Yes, and it runs between 14% and 20% on almost every line item. The Researcher pack is $888 a year against $1,008 paid monthly, Team is $1,728 per user against $2,016, Trading Firm is $4,992 against $5,760 and Institution is $12,912 against $15,264, which QuantConnect advertises as savings of $288, $768 and $2,352 per user. The exception is the assistant nodes: A1-1 at $288 a year and A4-12 at $1,152 are exactly twelve times their monthly rates, so annual billing saves nothing there.
How much does QuantConnect data cost?
Core US equity, options, futures, forex and crypto data is included in every tier including the free one. Premium datasets are metered separately and the range is wide. Most alternative data is free, including AlgoSeek history, Brain Company sentiment and filings analysis, and Extract Alpha's Estimize and True Beats. Quiver Quantitative feeds are $5 a month each, Smart Insider buyback data is $10, Wikipedia page views are $15, Benzinga news is $120, US ETF Constituents Updates is $330 and the US Equity Security Master is $4,000 a month, or $48,000 a year.
Is QuantConnect worth it?
It is worth it if you write Python or C#, want LEAN's event-driven engine, and intend to deploy to a broker, because nothing else in the retail price range gives you that stack with minute and tick data across six asset classes. It is poor value if what you have is a rule on daily bars, because then most of the $84 is a live trading node, an assistant node and a research node you will not open, and the learning curve on LEAN is measured in weeks. Test the rule somewhere that takes plain English first, and buy the compute once you know the idea survives.
How do I cancel a QuantConnect subscription?
Subscriptions are managed from the organization billing page inside your QuantConnect account, where seats, nodes, support and data add-ons are each listed as separate line items that can be removed individually. Because the plan is a configuration rather than a single fee, cancelling one component, for example dropping a live trading node when you stop deploying, reduces the bill without ending the subscription. Annual commitments run to the end of their term. Check the current terms on the billing page before you rely on any specific notice period.
