BlackBoxStocks pricing and Blackbox Stocks price of all four plans, monthly and yearly

BlackBoxStocks sells four plans, from Options Basic at $59 a month to Equities and Options Premium at $149, and every yearly price is exactly 20% below twelve monthly payments. Two of its own documents disagree about refunds, and the company that filed audited numbers on it stopped owning it in May 2026.

In short

BlackBoxStocks costs $59 a month for Options Basic, $79 for Options Plus, $89 for Equities Plus and $149 for Equities and Options Premium. Billed yearly the same plans cost $566.40, $758.40, $854.40 and $1,430.40, which is 20% off twelve monthly payments. Dark pool data starts at Options Plus. The pricing page says "All sales are final", while the terms document allows a yearly plan to be cancelled within 30 days of renewal and reviews refunds case by case. Subscription revenue fell from $6.09 million in 2021 to $2.35 million in 2025 in audited filings, and the platform has been run by a privately held company since May 2026. AgentTrading is not a scanner or flow service. It backtests a stock rule on 20+ years of data from $49 a month, bought online, with no execution and no personalized advice.

HOW IT WORKS - 4 STEPS

From a sentence to a stamped verdict

01

Pick by what you trade

Options only: Basic or Plus. Stocks only: Equities Plus. Both every week: Premium.

02

Start monthly

There is no trial, so one monthly payment is the cheapest way to try it.

03

Go yearly only once you are sure

Yearly saves 20%, but it is a prepayment to a private company with no public accounts.

04

Test the setup behind the alerts

If you keep trading the same kind of alert, run that rule on our backtesting software to see how it did across 20+ years.

On the same bench

BlackBoxStocks is a browser and mobile platform for active traders: real-time stock and options scanners, algorithm-based alerts, options flow, dark pool prints, live trading rooms and a Discord community. We read its pricing page on both the monthly and the yearly toggle, its terms and billing document, and the company's annual reports on Form 10-K for 2021, 2023 and 2025 plus the second-quarter 2026 report of the company that merged with it. Everything was read on October 24, 2026. Prices and quotes below come from those documents. Where a number is our arithmetic, we say so.

PlanMonthlyYearly, as billedYearly shown per monthTwelve monthly payments
Options Basic$59$566.40$47.20$708
Options Plus$79$758.40$63.20$948
Equities Plus$89$854.40$71.20$1,068
Equities and Options Premium$149$1,430.40$119.20$1,788

The last column is ours. Every yearly price is exactly 80% of twelve monthly payments, so the yearly toggle saves 20% on every plan, from $141.60 on Options Basic to $357.60 on Premium. The page does not print a percentage next to the toggle. All subscriptions "are set to auto-renew by default".

How much does BlackBoxStocks cost?

BlackBoxStocks costs between $59 and $149 a month, or between $566.40 and $1,430.40 a year on annual billing. The cheapest plan, Options Basic, covers real-time options flow and options alerts only. The most popular plan, marked on the page, is Equities and Options Premium at $149 a month, which bundles everything. The company's own 10-K for 2025, filed in February 2026, states the same range: "Monthly subscriptions are currently priced between $59 and $149 per month and annual subscriptions are currently priced at between $566.40 and $1,430.40."

No free trial appears on the pricing page; every plan button reads Join Now. The 10-K says the company "occasionally" offers "gift cards and promotional discounts", and the terms document says special promotions "are not refund eligible", which matters if a discount is what gets you to sign up.

BlackBoxStocks plans compared

The four plans split by what you trade. Options Basic and Options Plus are options products, Equities Plus is a stock product, and Premium is both plus a few extras.

"No" means the plan card does not list the feature. Premium lists "Everything in Options Plus" and "Everything in Equities Plus", which cost $168 a month if bought separately, so Premium is $19 a month cheaper than the two Plus plans together and adds the market volatility scanner and historical stock data. For an options trader the real decision is Basic against Plus: $20 a month, or $192 a year on annual billing, buys dark pool data, gamma exposure, historical flow and the live rooms.

How the price has changed since 2021

Until the tiered plans arrived, BlackBoxStocks sold one product. Its 10-K for 2021 and its 10-K for 2023 both say: "We currently offer monthly subscriptions to our platform for $99 per month and annual subscriptions for $959 per year." The full product now costs $149 a month or $1,430.40 a year, 51% and 49% more than the old single plan, by our arithmetic. The new entry plan, Options Basic at $59, is cheaper than the old price but leaves out dark pool data and the live rooms that used to come with every subscription. Anyone who joined at $959 a year should read the grandfathering rule further down before letting a plan lapse.

What the audited filings show about the business

BlackBoxStocks filed audited annual reports with the SEC until 2026, which is more than any other flow or scanner vendor in this category publishes. Subscription revenue, from the income statements:

YearSubscription revenueList price in the 10-KFull-year subscriptions at list price (our arithmetic)
2021$6,087,081$99 a month or $959 a yearAbout 5,100 to 6,300
2022$4,927,002Not restatedNot computed
2023$3,096,112$99 a month or $959 a yearAbout 2,600 to 3,200
2024$2,563,257Tiered pricing introducedNot computed
2025$2,347,439$59 to $149 a monthAbout 1,300 to 4,100, depending on plan mix

The last column divides revenue by a year of the list price, so it counts full-year equivalents rather than people, and discounts would push the true number higher. The direction is not in doubt: subscription revenue in 2025 was 61% below 2021. Prepaid subscriptions not yet delivered, shown as "Unearned subscriptions" on the balance sheet, fell from $928,203 to $726,208 during 2025. The same 10-K reports a 2025 net loss of $4,092,609 and says the losses "raise substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue as a going concern."

Two more lines in the filing help a buyer read the reviews. The company pays referring subscribers "$25 for each subscription generated and $25 for each month the subscriber continues their subscription", and spent $93,826 on referrals in 2025 and $187,781 in 2024. So a glowing write-up with a sign-up link may be a paid referral. The pricing page shows "5.0 Stars - Based on 622 User Reviews" without naming where they were collected.

Who owns BlackBoxStocks now?

The listed company is gone from the picture. On February 24, 2026, Blackboxstocks Inc. completed a reverse merger with REalloys, a rare earth metals and magnet materials business, and the combined company began trading on Nasdaq as ALOY the next day. REalloys' second-quarter 2026 report says the trading platform sat in a subsidiary, Blackbox.io, Inc., which it "deconsolidated effective May 5, 2026" after a former Blackbox officer and director, Gust Kepler, exercised a put right and took a majority of its voting power. The report says Blackbox.io "was in a net liability position" and held cash of $0.07 million when it left.

In plain terms, the platform is now run by a private company that no longer files audited results, and its last public accounts showed little cash. That is not a reason to assume anything will stop working. It is a reason to prefer monthly billing over a $1,430.40 prepayment unless you have used the service long enough to be sure. The pricing page and the terms document still name "BlackBoxStocks, Inc."

Does BlackBoxStocks give refunds?

The two documents a buyer will find do not agree. The pricing page says: "All subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. You can cancel online at any time. All sales are final." The terms and billing document linked from the same page says a yearly plan can be cancelled "prior to renewal, or within 30 days of renewal occurring", and that "Blackboxstocks will determine the eligibility for a refund on a case-by-case basis." On monthly plans "you will be billed for the entire month in which you cancel", and the document lists cancellation by email at [email protected].

So if an annual renewal catches you out, the written terms give you 30 days to ask, whatever the pricing page says. Ask in writing and keep the reply. Promotional purchases are excluded from refunds in the same paragraph.

Price increases, lapsed accounts and professional fees

Three rules in the terms affect the long-run bill. Existing customers keep their rate "through the end of the current term", and at renewal "the new pricing for the following year shall be automatically applied". An account that "has lapsed or is frozen for over 90 days" has to "re-purchase at current prices", so a long break ends any old rate. And while exchange fees for non-professional traders are included, "professional traders may be required to pay their exchange fees", for example "a $20/month NASDAQ exchange fee", which is not refundable. If you trade for a firm or hold a securities license, our non-professional subscriber guide explains how that status is decided.

What the BlackBoxStocks price does not buy

It does not buy a test of your own rules. Historical options flow and downloadable data let you look back at what printed, and the team trades show what the room did, but we found no backtesting feature on the pricing page or in any plan list. That matters, because the alerts are algorithm-driven and the room trades are short-term, and whether "buy the stock after a large dark pool print" has made money over many years is a question only a backtest answers.

Our backtesting software runs a stock rule you describe in one sentence across 20+ years of adjusted daily data, with costs on every trade, and stamps it held up, mixed or underperformed against buy and hold. Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year. Options rules, such as a fixed-delta put spread, run on options backtesting on the Analyst plan at $99 a month. We do not sell scanners, flow, alerts or a trading room. To compare the flow services directly, see Cheddar Flow pricing and our Unusual Whales review, and for the oldest of the flow services, our FlowAlgo review.

Which BlackBoxStocks plan should you buy?

Buy Options Plus if you trade options during the session and want dark pool levels and the live rooms; at $79 a month it is the plan that covers what the old single product did. Buy Equities Plus if you day trade stocks off scanners and never touch options. Buy Premium only if you trade both every week, since it saves $19 a month over the two Plus plans but costs $70 a month more than Options Plus alone. Options Basic suits a trader who only wants the options flow feed and alerts. Pay monthly first in every case, and consider the yearly plan only after a few months, when you know you will stay and have read the ownership section above.

If the question behind the subscription is whether a setup works at all, test it before paying for a feed of trades. That takes one sentence on the Starter plan.

QUESTIONS - ASKED AND ANSWERED

BlackBoxStocks pricing questions and answers

How much does BlackBoxStocks cost?

BlackBoxStocks costs $59 a month for Options Basic, $79 for Options Plus, $89 for Equities Plus and $149 for Equities and Options Premium. Annual billing costs $566.40, $758.40, $854.40 and $1,430.40 a year, which is 20% less than twelve monthly payments. All plans auto-renew.

Is BlackBoxStocks worth it?

BlackBoxStocks is worth it for an active day trader who uses scanners, flow alerts and the live trading rooms most sessions, and Options Plus at $79 a month covers what the old $99 single plan did. It is poor value for a long-term investor, and a yearly prepayment carries more risk now that the platform is run by a private company.

Does BlackBoxStocks have a free trial?

No free trial appears on the BlackBoxStocks pricing page; every plan button reads Join Now. The company says it occasionally runs gift cards and promotional discounts, but its terms state that special promotions are not refund eligible, so the cheapest way to try it is one month of the plan you need.

Does BlackBoxStocks give refunds?

Officially it depends on which page you read. The pricing page says all sales are final. The terms and billing document says a yearly plan can be cancelled within 30 days of renewal and that refunds are decided case by case. Monthly plans are billed for the whole month in which you cancel.

What is the difference between BlackBoxStocks Options Basic and Options Plus?

Options Basic at $59 a month gives real-time options flow, algo options alerts, charting and an options heatmap. Options Plus at $79 adds dark pool data, net options delta and gamma exposure, historical options flow and volatility dashboards, downloadable data, the live trading rooms and the Discord community.

Who owns BlackBoxStocks?

Since May 5, 2026 the platform has been run by Blackbox.io, Inc., a private company controlled by a former Blackbox officer and director. Blackboxstocks Inc. merged with REalloys, a rare earth metals company, in February 2026, and REalloys deconsolidated the trading platform three months later, according to its second-quarter 2026 report.

Is BlackBoxStocks cheaper than Unusual Whales?

No. Unusual Whales Retail Basic is $50 a month or $504 a year, against $59 a month or $566.40 a year for BlackBoxStocks Options Basic. BlackBoxStocks includes live trading rooms and stock scanners on its higher plans, which Unusual Whales does not, so the comparison depends on whether you want a community.

Does BlackBoxStocks have backtesting?

We found no backtesting feature on the BlackBoxStocks pricing page or in any plan list. Its historical flow, historical stock and options data and downloadable data let you look back at what printed, but the platform does not run a trading rule across past years and report the result.

How do I cancel BlackBoxStocks?

The pricing page says you can cancel online at any time, and the terms document also lists cancellation by email at [email protected]. Cancel before the billing date, because a monthly plan is billed for the whole month in which you cancel, and keep the written confirmation.
