TC2000 Basic

A trader who wants fast real-time charts and watchlists and scans elsewhere

Charts, streaming watchlists, news and paper trading on Nasdaq Basic data. Fine as a charting seat; not the product most people mean when they say TC2000.

TC2000 Premium

A swing trader who builds scans and wants them in real time

The plan that unlocks EasyScan, personal criteria formulas, history columns and real-time sorting. For most retail scanners this is the one to buy.

TC2000 Premium+

A full-time trader who runs live market gauges and wants to look at past scan results

Adds auto-refreshing filters, market-pulse indicators, Select Date on Chart and 1,000 alerts. With a TC2000 brokerage account it can earn back up to $300 a year.

Trade Ideas

A day trader who wants a real-time scanner with AI signals

The other scanner people shortlist with TC2000, at two to five times the price. Every tier and term is on Trade Ideas pricing.

TrendSpider

A technical trader who wants charts, scans, backtests and bots in one login

Unlike TC2000 it backtests chart rules. See every limit on TrendSpider pricing.

AgentTrading Starter

A trader who wants to know whether the rule behind a scan has made money after costs

TC2000 tells you which stocks pass your scan today. We tell you whether trading that rule would have paid: type it in plain English and it runs on adjusted daily data with costs charged on every trade, then reports every trade, the drawdown and a plain verdict against buy and hold. Start on the trading strategy tester.

WHAT YOU GET - TC2000 PRICING

TC2000 pricing, run on the bench

Plans from $24.99 a month

Basic $24.99, Premium $49.99, Premium+ $99.99 on monthly billing. Yearly gives two months free and two-year billing six.

Scanning starts on Premium

EasyScan, formula filters and real-time sorting are not on Basic. If you came for the scanner, the entry price is $49.99.

Real-time is Nasdaq Basic

Every plan includes real-time US stocks from Nasdaq Basic. The consolidated tape is $14.99 a month, options and indexes $9.99 each.

Professionals pay up to $161.50 more

Nasdaq Level 1 $25, NYSE/AMEX $105 and OPRA $31.50 a month under professional exchange agreements.

30-day money-back guarantee

TC2000 offers its money back for 30 days, no questions asked, which makes a paid month a genuine trial.

No strategy backtester on any plan

Premium+ can show which stocks passed a scan on a past date, within 1,500 bars. It does not simulate trades.

HOW IT WORKS - 4 STEPS

From a sentence to a stamped verdict

01

Decide whether you need scanning

If you only chart, Basic is enough. If you came for EasyScan and formulas, start on Premium.

02

Price the data you actually need

Add $9.99 for options, $9.99 for indexes and $14.99 for the consolidated tape, and check whether you count as a professional user.

03

Pay monthly inside the 30 days

Use the money-back window to see whether you run scans every day before you lock in a year or two.

04

Test the rule behind your best scan

A scan finds candidates; it does not tell you whether trading them pays. Type the rule into our trading strategy tester and compare it with buy and hold before you commit money.

On the same bench

TC2000 prices on one page, tc2000.com/pricing, which renders its plan cards in the browser. We read the rendered page on October 5, 2026, together with TC2000's professional exchange fee notice and its help article on historical scans. Every figure below is quoted from those pages unless we say we computed it.

PlanMonthly billingYearly billing, per month as shownYearly total (our arithmetic)What the plan adds
Basic$24.99$20.82$249.90Real-time charts, streaming watchlists, news, paper trading. No scanning.
Premium$49.99$41.65$499.90Real-time scanning and sorting, EasyScan, formulas (PCFs), history columns, 100 alerts
Premium+$99.99$83.32$999.90Market-pulse gauges, auto-refreshing filters, past-date scans, 1,000 alerts, brokerage discount

Two-year billing is labeled "6 months free", so you pay 18 months for 24: about $449.82, $899.82 and $1,799.82, or $18.74, $37.49 and $74.99 a month, by our arithmetic. The comparison grid lower on the same page still calls the upper plans Gold and Platinum, which is why older reviews quote plan names, and sometimes prices, that the checkout no longer shows.

What the TC2000 data add-ons cost

"All plans include real-time data" is true, with a qualifier the plan card states and most reviews drop: the stock feed is "provided by Nasdaq Basic". That is a single-venue feed. If you want the full consolidated tape, it is $14.99 a month on top. The other optional feeds are billed monthly: real-time US options $9.99, real-time US indexes $9.99, Dow Jones real-time $2.50 or delayed $1.50, and extra alerts at $10 for 100 or $25 for 500. A Premium user who adds the consolidated tape and options pays $74.97 a month before any discount, half as much again as the plan price.

The professional fee most TC2000 reviews leave out

If your subscriber affidavit marks you as a professional, TC2000 sends you to a separate notice. Real-time data then needs a professional exchange agreement for each feed, at "NASDAQ Level 1 $25.00 (collected by Worden Brothers, Inc.) NYSE / AMEX $105.00 (collected by Exchange) OPRA / CBOE $31.50 (collected by Exchange)", and activation waits for signed forms, "typically 1-2 business days". Take all three and the exchange fees come to $161.50 a month, more than Premium+ itself. It is the same pass-through we documented on non-professional subscriber rules across the category: the exchange charges for professional use, and the vendor either closes a tier or bills it to you. TC2000 bills it.

Does any TC2000 plan backtest a strategy?

No. TC2000 is a charting and scanning platform. The closest it comes is Select Date on Chart, which lets you "select any date or time (within 1500 bars) and view the items meeting those conditions", and TC2000 marks it "Premium+ service level required". That answers "which stocks passed my scan on that day". It does not enter trades, apply exits or costs, or add up a result. And 1,500 bars is about six years of daily bars or about four weeks of 5-minute bars. To find out whether the rule behind a scan has made money, run it as a backtest on stock screener with backtesting tools or type it into our trading strategy tester.

If you are weighing TC2000 against the scanner with an AI signal engine, every Trade Ideas tier is on Trade Ideas pricing, and the chart-and-backtest platform that rations usage by plan is on TrendSpider pricing.

QUESTIONS - ASKED AND ANSWERED

TC2000 pricing questions and answers

How much does TC2000 cost?

TC2000 costs $24.99 a month for Basic, $49.99 for Premium and $99.99 for Premium+ on monthly billing. Yearly billing gives two months free ($20.82, $41.65 and $83.32 a month) and two-year billing gives six months free. Options and index data are $9.99 a month each, and the consolidated tape is $14.99.

How much is TC2000 per month?

On monthly billing TC2000 is $24.99, $49.99 or $99.99 a month. Billed yearly the effective monthly rate is $20.82, $41.65 or $83.32, and billed every two years it works out to about $18.74, $37.49 or $74.99 by our arithmetic.

Is TC2000 worth the money?

TC2000 is worth it if you scan the market every day and want fast real-time charts, and Premium at $49.99 is where that starts. It is poor value if what you need is to test whether a strategy makes money, because no plan includes a strategy backtester.

Does TC2000 include real-time data?

Yes. Every plan includes real-time US stocks provided by Nasdaq Basic at no extra charge. The full consolidated tape is a $14.99 a month add-on, and real-time options and index data cost $9.99 a month each.

What is the difference between TC2000 Premium and Premium+?

Premium adds real-time scanning, EasyScan, personal criteria formulas, history columns and 100 alerts. Premium+ adds market-pulse gauges and indicators, auto-refreshing filters, scans on a past date within 1,500 bars, 1,000 alerts and the brokerage-account discount.

Does TC2000 have backtesting?

Not strategy backtesting. On Premium+, Select Date on Chart shows which stocks met your conditions on a past date within 1,500 bars. It does not enter or exit trades, charge costs or report a return, so the rule behind a scan has to be tested elsewhere.

Does TC2000 charge professional fees?

Yes. A user registered as a professional needs professional exchange agreements: Nasdaq Level 1 at $25.00, NYSE/AMEX at $105.00 and OPRA/CBOE at $31.50 a month. That is up to $161.50 a month on top of the plan price.

Does TC2000 have a free trial?

TC2000 offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, "no questions asked", on its pricing page. In practice that works as a paid trial: you pay for the plan and can ask for your money back within 30 days.

Is TC2000 cheaper with the brokerage account?

It can be. TC2000 gives a $25 discount for every month you make a trade or hold more than $30,000 in a TC2000 brokerage account, up to $300 a year, applied at recurring subscription charges. TC2000 lists it among the Premium+ features.
