This Privacy Policy explains how Agenttrading ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our AI trading assistant. We aim to be plain and honest about what we do with data, the same way we are plain and honest about backtests.

Information we collect

When you sign up we collect your email address and a confirmation code we send to verify it, along with the page or button you signed up from (the signup source). If you contact us, we collect your name, email, and message. We also collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the page that referred you, along with any UTM parameters in the link you arrived from, and we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used.

The ideas you analyze

When you use Agenttrading, we process the theses, tickers, and rule parameters you enter solely to produce your analyses: the restated rule, the fundamentals summary, the backtest, the risk panel, and the verdict. Your analysis history and assumption logs exist so you can revisit and export your own work. We do not sell them, share them with other users, or publish them. Your ideas are your research; we treat them as confidential by default.

What we never collect

Agenttrading has no brokerage connection, so we never receive, hold, or ask for your brokerage credentials, account numbers, positions, balances, or trade history. We do not know what you own and we do not want to. The service analyzes ideas against historical market data; it never touches your money or your accounts.

How we use information

• To confirm your email address and manage your access.
• To run the analyses you request and deliver your exports.
• To respond to your messages and provide support.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the site and product (for example, email delivery, market data, AI and infrastructure providers, and analytics), under contracts that require them to protect it, or where required by law.

Data retention

Account and contact information is kept for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information, including your analysis history, at any time.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls. Enterprise plans add SSO, a security review, and a DPA.

Not financial advice

Nothing we collect or produce is used to give you personalized investment advice, because we do not give any. Every analysis is educational: it describes how a rule behaved in past markets. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Decisions about your money are yours, ideally made with a licensed advisor.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or delete your information, and you can opt out of non-essential email at any time. To make a request, email [email protected].
