Stock Rover pricing: Stock Rover plans, cost per month and per year, and what the 2026 price increase changed
Stock Rover sells four paid plans on three billing terms, so every plan has three prices. Premium is $34 month to month, $348 a year, or $576 for two years. Premium Plus is $70, $588 or $1,008. The number most reviews still print, $27.99 a month for Premium Plus, is the price before Stock Rover rebuilt its ladder in mid 2026.

Every Stock Rover plan, who it is for, and the honest alternatives at each price
One card per Stock Rover tier plus the closest priced alternatives, including an honest card for this site. Prices are month to month first, then annual.
| Tool | Best for | Price (September 25, 2026) | The honest limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stock Rover Premium | A long-term investor who wants a real screener, portfolio tracking with brokerage sync, and data export, and does not need past-year screens | $34 a month, or $348 a year, or $576 for two years | Five years of fundamentals and ten of price history, no historical screening, no equation screens, limited ratings and fair value, research reports cost $50 extra, and 10 table exports a month. |
| Stock Rover Premium Plus | A fundamentals investor who wants historical screening, fair value and ratings, and the research reports, on one account | $70 a month, or $588 a year, or $1,008 for two years | Ten years of fundamentals rather than twenty, no real-time quotes, 30 custom metrics, and the steepest monthly billing penalty on the ladder at 43%. |
| Stock Rover Ultimate | A retiree or wealth builder who wants the deepest history, real-time quotes and option metrics without a professional licence | $99 a month, or $948 a year, or $1,656 for two years | Still licensed for personal use: "Professional Usage" is listed only on Ultimate Pro. No trading-rule backtester. |
| Stock Rover Ultimate Pro | A registered adviser or wealth professional who needs the licence to use the output with clients | $199 a month, or $1,788 a year, or $3,096 for two years | The only plan listing "Professional Usage". Every lower tier is personal, so the licence, not the feature list, sets the price for a firm. |
| Koyfin | Someone who wants charting, fundamentals and dashboards with a published price on both billing terms | Published ladder from a free tier up through paid plans, monthly and annual | No backtesting engine at any tier, and advisor features start on a higher plan than the one most reviews quote. |
| AgentTrading Analyst | An investor who has a specific rule in mind, found on a screen or anywhere else, and wants to know whether it held up over 20 years | $49 a month, or $468 a year. Starter is $19 a month with a 10-year window | We are not a screener and have no 700-metric database, no portfolio sync and no research reports. Buy Stock Rover for those. |
Prices are the vendors' public list prices, checked September 25, 2026, and vendors change them. Verify current pricing and capabilities with each vendor before you buy.
Stock Rover Premium
A long-term investor who wants a real screener, portfolio tracking with brokerage sync, and data export, and does not need past-year screens
Premium is the cheapest way into Stock Rover now that Essentials is gone, and its monthly penalty is the smallest in the ladder at 17%, which makes it the one plan where paying month to month while you decide is reasonable. It covers the 8,500 stocks, the screener on 300+ metrics, portfolio management with two linked brokerages and real-time alerts. What it leaves out is exactly what most people buy Stock Rover for, so check the comparison page against the feature you came for before you pay.
Stock Rover Premium Plus
A fundamentals investor who wants historical screening, fair value and ratings, and the research reports, on one account
This is the plan Stock Rover marks "Popular" and the one the old $27.99 figure referred to. It now includes the 7,000-stock research reports that used to cost $49.99 a year extra, historical and equation screening, 20 years of price history and 90 exports a month. It is good value on annual billing and poor value month to month: twelve monthly payments cost $840 against $588 up front. If you are buying it, buy the year, after the trial.
Stock Rover Ultimate
A retiree or wealth builder who wants the deepest history, real-time quotes and option metrics without a professional licence
Ultimate adds 20 years of fundamentals, real-time quotes where available, insider metrics, the full options chain, OTC screening and roughly 6,000 extra tickers, plus 500 exports a month and phone support. For someone screening on long histories of fundamentals, the extra ten years is the reason to be here. For most investors, Premium Plus on annual billing does the same daily work for $360 a year less.
Stock Rover Ultimate Pro
A registered adviser or wealth professional who needs the licence to use the output with clients
Ultimate Pro is Ultimate with larger limits (300+ screeners, 5,000+ rows, 30 brokerages, 300 portfolios, 2,500 exports a month) and the professional usage line. That makes Stock Rover the twelfth vendor we have found that gates professional buyers by plan rather than by price. It is the same mechanism as TradingView's Ultimate-only professional rule, and we track all of them on our non-professional subscriber page.
Koyfin
Someone who wants charting, fundamentals and dashboards with a published price on both billing terms
Koyfin is the name most often shortlisted against Stock Rover. It is stronger on charts and macro dashboards, weaker on screen depth and portfolio sync. Its prices are on our Koyfin pricing page, including the tier an adviser actually needs.
AgentTrading Analyst
An investor who has a specific rule in mind, found on a screen or anywhere else, and wants to know whether it held up over 20 years
The two products do different jobs and plenty of people should own both. Stock Rover tells you which companies meet your criteria and what they looked like in past years. We take a rule, such as buying when a stock closes above its 200-day average and selling when it drops below, run it on adjusted daily data and report the trades, the drawdown and a plain verdict, including when the idea loses. Start on the trading strategy tester.

EVERY PRICE AND TERM, QUOTED FROM THE VENDOR
Stock Rover pricing: what the vendor states, where it states it, and what it means for your bill
Every row below is quoted from Stock Rover's own plans page, plan comparison page, affiliate pricing page, FAQ or terms of use. Where a ranking review prints a different figure, the row names it.
| Question a buyer asks | What Stock Rover states | Where it is stated | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| How much is Stock Rover per month? | On monthly billing: Premium $34, Premium Plus $70, Ultimate $99, Ultimate Pro $199. On annual billing the page shows $29, $49, $79 and $149 a month, "Billed annually at" $348, $588, $948 and $1,788. | stockrover.com/plans, Monthly and Annual toggle positions | The monthly figure you see depends on the toggle. A review quoting "$49 a month" for Premium Plus is quoting the annual plan. |
| How much does annual billing save? | The page says "Save up to 30% with Annual" and "up to 40%" with 2-year billing. | stockrover.com/plans, banner above the plans | The saving is uneven: 17% on Premium, 43% on Premium Plus, 25% on Ultimate and 34% on Ultimate Pro, measured as what monthly billing costs over a year. |
| Did Stock Rover raise its prices? | The May 2, 2026 plans page lists Essentials $7.99 a month, Premium $17.99 and Premium Plus $27.99 ($79.99, $179.99 and $279.99 a year). The July 8, 2026 page lists Premium, Premium Plus, Ultimate and Ultimate Pro at today's rates. | Archived copies of stockrover.com/plans | Premium roughly doubled on annual billing ($179.99 to $348), as did Premium Plus ($279.99 to $588). Essentials no longer exists. |
| Is the Stock Rover discount code real? | A separate affiliate pricing page lists first-year annual prices of $261, $441, $711 and $1,341 against the regular $348, $588, $948 and $1,788. | stockrover.com/affiliate-pricing | It is 25% off the first year of an annual plan. Year two renews at the regular price. Review sites that link with a tracking tag are paid on that sale. |
| Can I get a refund? | "Stock Rover does not issue refunds, regardless of the reason for cancellation", including "if you cancel immediately after your credit card is charged." | stockrover.com terms of use, Refunds | Decide during the 14-day trial. An annual plan bought on day one of a bad fit is a sunk $588. |
| What happens if I cancel an older plan? | "If you cancel a plan that is no longer currently offered, you will not be able to re-enroll in that plan; you will only be able to re-enroll in one of our current plans at the current rates." | stockrover.com/plans, FAQ | Legacy Essentials and old Premium Plus subscribers keep their rate only as long as they never let it lapse. |
| Which plan has historical screening? | Historical data screening and equations in screening are marked for Premium Plus, Ultimate and Ultimate Pro, and not for Premium. | stockrover.com/compare-plans | The feature most people buy Stock Rover for starts at $70 a month or $588 a year, not at the Premium entry price. |
| Can a financial advisor use Premium or Premium Plus? | "Professional Usage" appears only in the Ultimate Pro feature list, a plan labeled "For Advisors & Wealth Professionals". The terms of use allow downloaded or printed information "for your personal and non-commercial use only." | stockrover.com/plans and terms of use | Professional use is sold as a plan, not a feature. An adviser is routed to $1,788 a year whatever features they need. |
| Does any Stock Rover plan backtest a trading rule? | The comparison lists historical data screening, Monte Carlo portfolio simulation and a Trade Evaluator. None of them simulates entries and exits on a rule through time. | stockrover.com/compare-plans | Stock Rover screens and analyzes. If you need a rule tested, that is a second tool. Our Starter plan is $19 a month or $180 a year, and the 20-year window starts at $49. |
Current prices, plan limits, affiliate pricing, the refund term and the re-enrollment rule were read from stockrover.com in September 2026. WHAT YOU GET - STOCK ROVER PRICING
Stock Rover pricing, run on the bench
Every plan has three prices, not one
Stock Rover bills monthly, annually or every two years, and the page shows a different "/mo" number in each position. Premium Plus is $70, $49 or $42 a month depending on the toggle. Reviews that print one number without the billing term are quoting a position of the toggle, not the price you will be charged.
Month-to-month billing costs 17% to 43% more
Over a year, paying monthly costs $60 more on Premium, $252 more on Premium Plus, $240 more on Ultimate and $600 more on Ultimate Pro. The penalty is steepest on Premium Plus, the plan Stock Rover labels "Popular".
The 2026 ladder roughly doubled the old prices
The May 2, 2026 plans page sold Essentials at $7.99, Premium at $17.99 and Premium Plus at $27.99 a month. Today Essentials is gone and Premium Plus is $70 month to month or $588 a year, against $279.99 a year before. Research reports, once $49.99 extra, are now included from Premium Plus up.
The first-ranked review prints the old prices
StockBrokers.com's review, dated September 14, 2026, lists Premium at $17.99 and Premium Plus at $27.99 a month. Those are the pre-repricing rates. If you are budgeting from it, you are about $300 a year short on Premium Plus annual.
No refunds, so the trial is the purchase decision
The terms of use say Stock Rover does not refund "regardless of the reason", even immediately after a charge. The 14-day trial needs no card and falls back to the free plan, so use the exact tier you plan to buy for the full two weeks first.
Professional use is a plan, not a setting
"Professional Usage" appears only on Ultimate Pro, labeled "For Advisors & Wealth Professionals", and the terms limit downloads to "personal and non-commercial use". An adviser choosing on features alone can pick a plan they are not licensed to use.
HOW IT WORKS - 4 STEPS
From a sentence to a stamped verdict
Decide which feature you are paying for
Historical screening, equation screens, fair value and the research reports all start at Premium Plus. Twenty years of fundamentals and real-time quotes start at Ultimate. If the thing you want is on Premium, you have saved $240 a year before you start.
Run the 14-day trial on that exact plan
Stock Rover lets you change trial type as often as you like and asks for no card. Trial accounts cannot export tables to CSV and get a limited number of research reports, so do not judge export or report volume from the trial.
Buy the year, not the month, if you are staying
On Premium Plus, $588 up front against $840 in monthly payments is a $252 difference. Since there are no refunds either way, monthly billing mostly buys the right to leave, and the trial already gave you that.
Check for the first-year affiliate price, then diarize the renewal
The affiliate price is 25% off year one ($441 instead of $588 on Premium Plus). Year two renews at the regular rate. Put the renewal date in your calendar, because auto-renewal is on by default and cancelling after the charge does not get the money back.
Test the rule you found, somewhere that tests rules
Stock Rover will find the companies. It will not tell you what a buy-and-sell rule on them would have returned. When a screen gives you an idea you want to trade, run it on our trading strategy tester before you put money behind it.

On the same bench
Stock Rover's pricing page has a three-way toggle: Monthly, Annual and 2-Year. Most write-ups screenshot one position of that toggle and call it the price, which is why two reviews on the first page of results can disagree by a factor of two and both be quoting the vendor. Here is the whole grid, read from stockrover.com in September 2026.
| Plan | Month to month | Billed annually | Billed every 2 years | Monthly billing costs you extra per year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | $34 a month ($408 a year) | $348 a year ($29 a month) | $576 every 2 years ($24 a month) | $60, or 17% |
| Premium Plus | $70 a month ($840 a year) | $588 a year ($49 a month) | $1,008 every 2 years ($42 a month) | $252, or 43% |
| Ultimate | $99 a month ($1,188 a year) | $948 a year ($79 a month) | $1,656 every 2 years ($69 a month) | $240, or 25% |
| Ultimate Pro | $199 a month ($2,388 a year) | $1,788 a year ($149 a month) | $3,096 every 2 years ($129 a month) | $600, or 34% |
The last column is the one to look at. The penalty for paying month to month is not flat. It is 17% on Premium and 43% on Premium Plus, which is the plan Stock Rover itself tags "Popular". So the plan most people are steered toward is also the plan where monthly billing costs the most. If you are going to own Premium Plus for a year anyway, $588 up front beats $840 in installments by $252.
What the 2026 repricing changed
Until spring 2026 Stock Rover sold a different ladder. An archived copy of the plans page from May 2, 2026 lists three plans: Essentials at $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year, Premium at $17.99 or $179.99, and Premium Plus at $27.99 or $279.99, with Research Reports sold separately at $49.99 a year bundled or $99.99 on their own. By July 8, 2026 the archived page shows today's four plans. Essentials is gone, Ultimate and Ultimate Pro are new, and Research Reports are folded into Premium Plus and above.
Put side by side, the annual price of Premium went from $179.99 to $348 and Premium Plus from $279.99 to $588, roughly double in both cases. Some of that buys more: Premium Plus now includes the research reports that used to cost $49.99 extra, and 20 years of price history. But anyone budgeting from an older review is off by about $300 a year on Premium Plus.
The old numbers are still live on the page that ranks first for this search. StockBrokers.com's Stock Rover review, dated September 14, 2026, lists Premium at $17.99 a month or $179.99 a year and Premium Plus at $27.99 or $279.99, beside current Ultimate figures. Those are the pre-repricing rates. Liberated Stock Trader prints the current figures but as "$29/month" and "$49/month", which are the annual-billing rates divided by twelve, not prices you can pay monthly.
If you already subscribe on an old plan
Read one line in Stock Rover's FAQ before you touch your account: "if you cancel a plan that is no longer currently offered, you will not be able to re-enroll in that plan; you will only be able to re-enroll in one of our current plans at the current rates." Turning off auto-renewal counts as cancelling. A legacy Essentials or old Premium Plus subscriber who lets the plan lapse, even to take a break, comes back at the new prices.
No refunds, including the first charge
The terms of use are blunt: Stock Rover "does not issue refunds, regardless of the reason for cancellation", and that holds "even if you cancel immediately after your credit card is charged". Combine that with annual billing and the purchase decision is really made at the end of the 14-day trial, not after. The trial needs no card and falls back to the free plan when it ends, so there is no reason to buy before you have used the tier you are buying. Whether any plan is worth it for the way you invest, including how it compares with Koyfin and what it cannot do, is in our Stock Rover review.
QUESTIONS - ASKED AND ANSWERED
Stock Rover pricing: the common questions
How much does Stock Rover cost?
On monthly billing Stock Rover costs $34 a month for Premium, $70 for Premium Plus, $99 for Ultimate and $199 for Ultimate Pro. Billed annually the same plans cost $348, $588, $948 and $1,788 a year, and two-year billing brings the rate down to $24, $42, $69 and $129 a month. A free plan and a 14-day trial of any paid plan are also offered.
What are the Stock Rover plans?
Stock Rover has four paid plans: Premium, Premium Plus, Ultimate and Ultimate Pro, plus a free plan for basic research. Premium covers screening, portfolio tracking and data export. Premium Plus adds historical and equation screening, fair value, ratings and research reports. Ultimate adds 20 years of fundamentals, real-time quotes and option metrics. Ultimate Pro adds larger limits and professional usage.
Is Stock Rover worth it?
Stock Rover is worth it if you screen on fundamentals and track a portfolio, and you buy the annual plan after using the trial. Premium Plus at $588 a year is where the features people come for begin. It is not worth it if you want to backtest a trading rule, because no plan does that, or if you would pay monthly on Premium Plus, which costs 43% more over a year.
Did Stock Rover raise its prices in 2026?
Yes. In early May 2026 the plans page sold Essentials at $7.99 a month, Premium at $17.99 and Premium Plus at $27.99. By early July the ladder was Premium, Premium Plus, Ultimate and Ultimate Pro, with Premium at $34 month to month and Premium Plus at $70. On annual billing Premium Plus went from $279.99 to $588, although it now includes research reports.
Does Stock Rover have a free plan?
Yes. The free plan is aimed at basic research on individual stocks and following the markets, and it does not include the full screening, comparison and portfolio tools. New members can also try any paid plan free for 14 days without entering a credit card, and the account drops back to the free plan when the trial ends.
Is there a Stock Rover discount code?
Stock Rover publishes affiliate pricing that takes 25% off the first year of an annual plan: $261 instead of $348 for Premium, $441 instead of $588 for Premium Plus, $711 for Ultimate and $1,341 for Ultimate Pro. The second year renews at the regular price. Two-year billing is the larger standing discount, at up to 40%.
Does Stock Rover offer refunds?
No. Stock Rover's terms of use say it does not issue refunds, regardless of the reason for cancellation, even if you cancel immediately after your card is charged. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period. That makes the free 14-day trial the right place to decide.
Can financial advisors use Stock Rover?
Yes, on Ultimate Pro. It is the only plan that lists "Professional Usage" and is labeled for advisors and wealth professionals, at $199 a month or $1,788 a year. The lower plans are personal plans, and the terms of use allow downloaded or printed information for personal, non-commercial use only. Confirm your firm's use case with Stock Rover before buying.
Does Stock Rover have backtesting?
Not for trading rules. Stock Rover offers historical screening from Premium Plus up, which shows which companies met your criteria in past years, plus Monte Carlo simulation of a portfolio. Neither steps a buy and sell rule through time and reports its trades and drawdown. Our full comparison is in does Stock Rover have backtesting.
