Tradervue pricing and Tradervue cost for the Free, Silver and Gold plans
Tradervue sells two paid plans, Silver at $29.95 a month and Gold at $49.95, and keeps a free plan capped at 30 trades a month. The choice between Silver and Gold comes down to five reports that only Gold includes, and one of them decides whether your profit and loss is shown after commissions.

In short
Tradervue costs $29.95 a month for Silver and $49.95 a month for Gold, which is $359.40 or $599.40 over a year by our arithmetic. The pricing page shows no yearly price. Both paid plans import unlimited trades for stocks, options, futures and forex; Gold adds commission and fee support, exit analysis, risk reporting, advanced filters and liquidity reports. The free plan imports 30 trades a calendar month. New accounts get a 7-day trial that bills automatically, and the signup page says all sales are final. Tradervue is a journal of trades you already made and has no strategy backtester.

EVERY PRICE AND TERM, QUOTED FROM TRADERVUE
Tradervue pricing as Tradervue states it, and what it means for your bill
Every row is quoted from Tradervue's pricing page, its help center, its signup page or its Terms of Service. Where we computed a figure rather than read it, the row says so.
| Question a buyer asks | What Tradervue states | Where it is stated | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| How much does each plan cost? | Gold "$49.95 /mo"; Silver "$29.95 /mo" | Pricing page | $599.40 or $359.40 over 12 months (our arithmetic). |
| Is there a yearly price? | No yearly price appears on the pricing page | Pricing page | Budget on the monthly price unless checkout offers less. |
| What does the free plan allow? | "Users on the free plan have a monthly import limit of 30 trades." | Help center, Trade Import Quota | About one round trip per trading day. |
| What happens above 30 trades? | Imports are sorted "first by symbol" and then by date; "some trades may not be imported" | Help center, Trade Import Quota | Free-plan statistics can silently leave out whole symbols. |
| Which assets are covered? | Futures, forex and options support are checked on both Silver and Gold | Pricing page, plan table | Silver is enough for a multi-asset trader who does not need the Gold reports. |
| What does Gold add? | Risk tracking and reporting, advanced filters, exit analysis, commission and fee support, liquidity reports | Pricing page, plan table | $20 a month for the five diagnostic reports. |
| Is exit analysis on Silver? | Exit analysis "is available for users on the Gold subscription plan" | Help center, Exit Analysis | Best Exit P&L and efficiency need Gold. |
| How long is the trial? | "Try completely free for 7 Days. Pay nothing until Trial ends." | Signup page | One week to import a full month of trades and decide. |
| Can I get a refund? | "All sales are final - no refund." | Signup page | Decide during the trial, not after the first charge. |
| Does it renew automatically? | "By default, all subscriptions available on this site auto-renew." | Terms of Service, Subscriptions | Cancel before the renewal date if you are done. |
| When does a cancellation take effect? | "Any changes you make will take effect at the end of your current billing period." | Help center, Cancel Subscriptions | You keep paid features until the period ends, then drop to free. |
| Can I connect it to my own tools? | An API for trades, executions, journal entries and comments | Help center, API | Useful for automated imports from a platform with its own API. |
| Does any plan backtest strategies? | No backtesting feature appears in the plan table | Pricing page, plan table | Test a rule before you trade it in a separate backtester. |

WHAT YOU GET - TRADERVUE PRICING
Tradervue pricing, run on the bench
$29.95 or $49.95 a month
Silver and Gold, monthly prices only on the pricing page. $359.40 or $599.40 over a year.
Free plan, 30 trades a month
Counted by import date. Bigger imports are cut by symbol, so free-plan stats can leave whole tickers out.
Gold adds five reports
Commission and fee support, exit analysis, risk reporting, advanced filters and liquidity reports.
Multi-asset on Silver
Options, futures and forex are checked on both paid plans, despite what older reviews say.
7-day trial, no refunds
The trial bills automatically and the signup page says all sales are final.
No backtesting on any plan
A journal analyzes trades you took. Testing a rule before you take it is a separate job.
HOW IT WORKS - 4 STEPS
From a sentence to a stamped verdict
Start the 7-day trial on Gold
Gold shows you the reports you would give up on Silver. Import a full month of fills, fees included.
Check your net results
Compare Gold's fee-adjusted profit and loss with the gross figure. If the gap is large, stay on Gold.
Downgrade before day 7 if Silver is enough
The trial converts automatically and there are no refunds, so decide inside the week.
Test the rule before the next trade
Type the setup your journal says is working into our trading strategy tester and see how it held up over many more years than your journal covers.

On the same bench
Tradervue publishes its two paid plans on one pricing page, the free-plan limit in its help center and the refund rule only on the signup screen, so most pricing roundups quote the sticker and miss the rest. We read all of them on October 12, 2026. Every figure below is quoted from those pages unless we say we computed it.
| Plan | Price | Over 12 months | Trades you can import | Image storage | Gold-only reports |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 30 a calendar month | Not listed | No |
| Silver | $29.95 a month | $359.40 | Unlimited | 1 GB | No |
| Gold | $49.95 a month | $599.40 | Unlimited | 5 GB | Yes |
The 12-month totals are our arithmetic, twelve times the monthly price. The current pricing page lists monthly prices only. A yearly figure of $323.46 circulates on review sites; we could not find it anywhere on Tradervue's own pages, so treat it as unconfirmed until you see it at checkout.
Which Tradervue plan do you need?
Gold, if you trade often enough for commissions to matter, and most people who pay for a journal do. The two paid plans share everything that most comparison articles list: unlimited imports, broker sync, unlimited accounts, more than 100 advanced reports, MFE and MAE statistics, mentoring and support for stocks, options, futures and forex. Several review sites still say futures, forex and options need Gold. The current comparison table on Tradervue's pricing page checks all three on Silver.
What Silver lacks is five rows, and they are the rows that turn a journal from a record into a diagnosis. Gold is $20 a month more, $240 over a year by our arithmetic.
| Feature | Silver | Gold | Why it matters to an active trader |
|---|---|---|---|
| Commission and fee support | No | Yes | Profit and loss after what you paid to trade, which is the number that reaches your account |
| Exit analysis | No | Yes | "Best Exit P&L" and an efficiency score for each closed trade |
| Risk tracking and reporting | No | Yes | Results in R multiples against the risk you planned on each trade |
| Advanced filters | No | Yes | Slice results by several conditions at once |
| Liquidity reports | No | Yes | Results split by whether you added or removed liquidity, which drives rebates and fees at some brokers |
| Image uploads and storage | 1 GB | 5 GB | Chart screenshots attached to trades |
The first row is the one to think about. A scalper who takes 300 round trips a month at a dollar a side pays $600 in commissions, and a journal that does not net those out can show a profitable month that lost money. If you are on Silver, check whether your broker's import already carries net figures before you trust the totals.
Tradervue free plan limits
The free plan is real but small. Tradervue's help center sets the limit at "a monthly import limit of 30 trades", counted per calendar month by the date you import rather than the date you traded. A trade is a grouped position, not an execution, so scaling in and out of one position counts once.
The detail that matters is what happens past 30. Tradervue sorts a large import "first by symbol (as they appear in the file) and then by date", and "if the import exceeds 30 trades, some trades may not be imported." A month of 60 trades therefore loses whole symbols, not random trades, and any win rate you read on the free plan describes only the symbols that fitted. If you trade more than about one round trip a day, the free plan will not give you an honest picture.
Tradervue free trial, refunds and cancellation
New accounts can try Silver or Gold free, and the signup page sets the terms: "Try completely free for 7 Days", "You will be automatically charged after your free 7-day trial ends", and "All sales are final - no refund." The Terms of Service add that all subscriptions "auto-renew" by default.
- Trial: 7 days on Silver or Gold. Switch to the free plan before day 7 or the card is charged.
- Refunds: none. The signup screen says all sales are final.
- Cancelling: you downgrade to the free plan in Plans and Billing, and the change takes effect "at the end of your current billing period."
- After cancelling: the account becomes the "no-charge, reduced-functionality access option", so your history stays but imports drop back to 30 trades a month.
With no refunds, the trial week is the whole evaluation. Import at least a full month of fills during it, including fees, and look at the Gold reports before you decide whether Silver is enough.
Does Tradervue have backtesting?
No. Tradervue is a journal: it imports trades you already made and analyzes them. None of the three plans includes a strategy backtester or a replay simulator, and exit analysis only re-examines the exits of trades you actually took.
That gap is why journal users end up with a second tool. A journal tells you that your breakout trades lost money last quarter. It cannot tell you whether the rule behind them has ever worked across a bear market. To find out, type the rule in plain English into our trading strategy tester. It runs on split- and dividend-adjusted daily data with a cost on every trade, lists every trade it took, and gives a plain verdict against buy and hold. If you are deciding whether you need a paid journal at all, our guide on whether you need a trading journal covers that. If you are weighing TradeZella, which bundles a journal with replay and automated backtesting, our TradeZella review has every plan and its limits.
QUESTIONS - ASKED AND ANSWERED
Tradervue pricing questions and answers
How much does Tradervue cost?
Tradervue costs $29.95 a month for Silver and $49.95 a month for Gold, or $359.40 and $599.40 over a year at the monthly price. The free plan costs nothing and imports 30 trades a calendar month. The pricing page lists no yearly discount, so budget on the monthly figure.
Is Tradervue free?
There is a free plan, limited to importing 30 trades per calendar month, counted as grouped positions rather than executions. Above that, Tradervue imports trades sorted by symbol and then by date and drops the rest, so a busy month on the free plan can leave whole symbols out of your statistics.
What is the difference between Tradervue Silver and Gold?
Gold adds five things Silver lacks: commission and fee support, exit analysis, risk tracking and reporting, advanced filters and liquidity reports, plus 5 GB of image storage instead of 1 GB. Both plans import unlimited trades and support stocks, options, futures and forex. Gold costs $20 a month more.
Does Tradervue have a free trial?
Yes. New accounts can try Silver or Gold free for 7 days. The card is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you switch to the free plan first. Because there are no refunds, the trial week is the time to import a full month of trades and check the reports.
Does Tradervue offer refunds?
No. The signup page says "All sales are final - no refund." Subscriptions renew automatically, and a cancellation or downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which the account keeps your history on the free plan.
Is Tradervue worth it?
For a trader who takes more than about 30 trades a month and wants to know which setups make money, Gold at $49.95 is fair value because it nets out commissions and analyzes exits. Silver suits traders whose fees are small. If you mainly want to test a strategy before trading it, a journal is the wrong tool, since it only analyzes trades you already made.
Does Tradervue have backtesting?
No. Tradervue is a trading journal and has no strategy backtester or replay simulator on any plan. Its exit analysis re-examines exits on trades you actually took. To test a rule on years of history before you trade it, use a separate backtester such as our trading strategy tester.
Is Tradervue cheaper than TradeZella?
At the entry paid level, yes. Tradervue Silver is $29.95 a month and TradeZella Essential is $35, or $315 a year. TradeZella bundles manual replay backtesting on every plan and automated backtests from Pro at $59, while Tradervue is a journal only. Compare on what you need beyond the journal.
Does Tradervue support options and futures?
Yes, on both paid plans. The current pricing table checks futures, forex and options support on Silver and Gold, and the help center lists U.S. equities and options, all active forex pairs and a long list of futures contracts. Older reviews that say these need Gold describe an earlier plan table.
