EVERY PRICE AND TERM, QUOTED FROM QUIVER QUANTITATIVE
Quiver Quantitative pricing as Quiver states it, and what it means for your bill
Every row is quoted from the API pricing page or the Premium versus API page. Where we computed a figure it is marked as our arithmetic.
| Question a buyer asks | What the source states | Where it is stated | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| How much is Quiver Premium? | "$25/month or $300/year", "free tier available for the live dashboards" | Premium versus API page | A year of Premium is $300, and the free tier is enough to see the layout. |
| How much is the Quiver API? | Hobbyist "$25.00 month billed annually", Trader "$62.50 month billed annually" | API pricing page | $300 and $750 a year, paid up front (our arithmetic). |
| Is there a monthly option? | Hobbyist "Save $60 a year", Trader "Save $150 a year" | API pricing page | Monthly billing exists at a higher rate, about $30 and $75 a month (our arithmetic). |
| Does Premium include the API? | "Premium doesn't include an API key, and an API key doesn't unlock the Premium features" | Premium versus API page | Plenty of buyers need both, and both are billed. |
| Can I use it commercially? | "Hobbyist and Trader plans are for non-commercial use" | API pricing page | An advisor or fund needs Startup or Enterprise. |
| Who can buy Startup? | "Only offered to companies with under $1m in annual revenue" | API pricing page | Listed at $208.33 a month, or $104.17 on the first-year discount. |
| Is MCP extra? | "Included with every Quiver API plan", 10 of 18 tools on Hobbyist and all 18 on Trader | API pricing page | Trader is the plan that unlocks the full AI-assistant toolset. |
| Are strategies free of other fees? | "A separate Quantbase fee applies" | Premium versus API page | Investing through the managed route costs more than the Premium subscription. |

On the same bench
Quiver Quantitative is an alternative data service best known for congressional trading, insider filings, government contracts and lobbying data. It is sold in two forms that are billed separately, and the most common buying mistake is paying for the wrong one. We read the API pricing page and the company comparison of Premium and the API on November 4, 2026, and the figures below are quoted from them.
What each Quiver plan costs
| Plan | Price shown | Billing | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium (website) | $25 a month, or $300 a year | Subscription to quiverquant.com | Dashboards for every dataset, Quiver Strategies, alerts email, stock screener, Congress and Institutional backtesters, data export. A free tier covers the live dashboards |
| API Hobbyist | $25 a month | Billed annually, saves $60 a year | Congress trading, holdings, net worth, donors, contracts, lobbying, off-exchange trading, Trump trades, Polymarket trades, daily prices, and 10 of 18 MCP tools. No commercial use rights |
| API Trader | $62.50 a month | Billed annually, saves $150 a year | Everything in Hobbyist plus insider trading, hedge fund activity, top shareholders, patents, executive compensation, app ratings, newsfeed and all 18 MCP tools. No commercial use rights |
| API Startup | $208.33 a month, shown as $104.17 with a 50 percent first-year discount | Billed annually | Hobbyist and Trader datasets with commercial use rights, offered only to companies with under $1 million in annual revenue |
| API Enterprise | Contact for pricing | Quoted | Commercial use rights for organizations above $1 million in annual revenue |
The savings printed on the page imply the monthly-billing rates: $360 a year for Hobbyist against $300, and $900 a year for Trader against $750. That is our arithmetic from the two printed figures, so check it at checkout. The Trader plan costs 2.5 times Hobbyist, and the extra money buys the insider and fund datasets plus the other eight MCP tools.
Premium or the API, which one do you need
Quiver says plainly that these are two subscriptions, billed separately. Premium does not include an API key, and an API key does not unlock the website features such as strategies, the screener and the backtesters. Buy Premium if you want to look at filings and act on them without writing code. Buy the API if you want the raw records in a spreadsheet, a script or an AI assistant through the Quiver MCP server, which uses the same key and carries no extra charge.
The licence line that matters for professionals
Hobbyist and Trader are described as non-commercial. A financial advisor, a small fund or a newsletter publisher who builds client work on either one is outside the stated terms, and the Startup plan at about $2,500 a year before discount exists for exactly that case, limited to companies under $1 million in revenue. Larger organizations are routed to a quote. Premium has its own terms on the main site, so read them before using it for client material. If you run a firm, treat this as a licence question first and a price question second.
Strategies on Quiver carry a separate fee
Premium includes backtested Quiver Strategies, and the company offers investing in selected strategies through Quantbase, an SEC-registered investment adviser. A separate Quantbase fee applies, and Quiver discloses that it receives a share of the fees Quantbase charges on its strategies. That is disclosed on the comparison page, and it is a reason to read the strategy track record as marketing for the managed product as well as research.
Is Quiver Quantitative worth paying for
It is worth it if the data itself is your edge: you follow congressional disclosures, insider buying or contract awards and want them organized and timely. The $25 Premium plan or the Hobbyist API is a small cost against that. It is a weaker purchase if you expect the data to hand you a rule that works. A filing shows what someone did. It does not show whether trading after that kind of filing has paid across bull and bear markets, after costs.
What a data feed does not tell you
That second question has an answer in history, and you can get it before you build a workflow around a dataset. Describe the rule in plain English, for example buying after a cluster of insider purchases and selling after sixty days, and the backtesting software runs it across 20+ years of adjusted daily data with costs on every trade. It returns a verdict against buy and hold. Starter is $49 a month or $288 a year, and options rules run on options backtesting on the Analyst plan at $99 a month. We do not sell filings data, alerts or a screener. To compare other subscriptions in the same price band, see Unusual Whales pricing and Tradytics pricing, and for the full cost picture across the category read how much stock analysis software costs.
QUESTIONS - ASKED AND ANSWERED
Quiver Quantitative pricing questions and answers
How much does Quiver Quantitative cost?
Quiver Premium, the website, is $25 a month or $300 a year. The separate Quiver API is $25 a month for Hobbyist, $62.50 for Trader and $208.33 for Startup, each billed annually, with Enterprise quoted on request. Premium and the API are billed separately, so a buyer who wants both pays for both. Prices were read at source on November 4, 2026.
Is Quiver Quantitative worth it?
Quiver is worth it when the data is your edge, such as following congressional trades, insider purchases or contract awards, and when $25 a month is small against your position sizes. It is a weak purchase if you expect it to supply a rule that works, because a filing shows what happened and not whether trading on it has paid. Test the rule on history first.
Does Quiver Quantitative have a free plan?
Yes. Quiver says a free tier is available for the live dashboards on the website. It is meant for browsing and does not include the Premium strategies, screener or backtesters. The API plans have no free tier on the pricing page, so the cheapest way to use the API is Hobbyist at $25 a month billed annually.
Does Quiver Premium include the API?
No. Quiver states that Premium does not include an API key and that an API key does not unlock Premium features. They are two subscriptions, billed separately. The Quiver MCP server, which lets an AI assistant query the data, is included with any API plan at no extra cost and uses the same key.
Can I use Quiver Quantitative for clients or a business?
Not on Hobbyist or Trader. Quiver describes both as non-commercial. Commercial use needs the Startup plan, offered only to companies with under $1 million in annual revenue and listed at $208.33 a month, or Enterprise for larger organizations, which is quoted on request. Advisors and funds should read the terms before building client work on the data.
Does AgentTrading replace Quiver Quantitative?
No. AgentTrading does not sell congressional, insider or contract data, and it sends no alerts. It tests a stock or options rule across 20+ years of adjusted daily data and gives a plain verdict against buy and hold. Many traders use a data source for ideas and a backtest to check whether the idea has paid, after costs.
